This year's Macau Food Festival takes Singapore as its special inspiration, while celebrating Macao's status as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. The event brings together delicacies from all over the world and has several distinct areas, including the Chinese Food Street, the Asian Food Street, European Food Street, Local Food Street, Singaporean Food Street, and, for those with a sweet tooth, the Dessert Street.
